In a recent update to its ongoing 70th anniversary celebration guide, Disneyland Resort revealed new interactive experiences, enhanced photo ops, and a guided tour set to launch when the festivities kick off on May 16, 2025.
Bookings will open April 24th for A Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary Guided Tour, a two-hour add-on experience exploring Disneyland Park’s heritage.
Each night at Disney California Adventure Park, guests can vote for which Emotion from Pixar’s Inside Out 2 – Sadness, Anger, Disgust, or Envy – will appear in select scenes of both showings of the nighttime spectacular World of Color – Happiness! Eligible guests can vote in the Disneyland app before the first performance begins.
Disney PhotoPass Service will introduce new photo enhancements with anniversary flair throughout the celebration, such as themed Magic Shots and Disney PhotoPass Lenses.
Also, MagicBand+ will unlock unique effects at five interaction points in the original lands of Disneyland Park, inspired by some of the park’s opening day attractions!
