
The first sounds of The Lion King are arguably one of the most iconic movie openers of all time. The energy of Lebo M singing out over the Pride Lands in those first moments of the movie is sewn into the souls of children from the 90s, our parents, and anyone else who was lucky enough to remember when this powerhouse story came into our lives. To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of The Lion King, a live performance took place at the Hollywood Bowl in 2024 with an all-star cast to match the occasion. Now, many months after the May 2024 announcement that the performance would be released on Disney+, a date has finally been set.
