Disney announced today that three new achievement pins for the Play Disney Parks app are now available for purchase in the parks. The newest pins to help you celebrate your progression through the app are based off of three very popular attractions: The Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Star Tours- The Adventure Continues.
To unlock the achievements in the Play Disney Parks app, guests must download the app, log in, enable bluetooth and location services, and ride the attractions that feature the achievements.
Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort can find the High Seas Scallywag pin at Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar in Adventureland and the Hitchhiking Ghost pin at Memento Mori in Liberty Square- both in the Magic Kingdom. The Star Tourist pin can be located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Tatooine Traders. The entire achievement pin collection is available for purchase at Frontier Trading Post in the Magic Kingdom.
At the Disneyland Resort, the High Seas Scallywag pin and the Hitchhiking Ghost pin can be purchased at Pieces of Eight in New Orleans Square. The Star Tourist pin can be found at The Star Trader in Tomorrowland. All of the pins can be purchased at Westward Ho Trading Company in Frontierland.
Guests can present the Play Disney Parks achievement screen to a cast member in order to purchase the pins. Play along and earn those achievements!
