Gideon’s Bakehouse shared details on a brand new flavor that is available during the month of June – The Sea Turtle Cookie and The Sea Turtle Cake. The unique flavor is a tribute to a famous candy from 1918, with cookies being made with premium Chocolate, Homemade Caramel, and whole giant Candied Pecans sprinkled with Gideon’s signature Sea Salt. The Sea Turtle Cake has three layers of soft Chocolate Cake, covered with Butter Pecan Buttercream drizzled with Caramel and topped with Candied Pecans. Yum!
In their announcement, Gideon’s said that “a portion of sales from this new flavor will support Florida’s Sea Turtle Conservancy, the world’s oldest sea turtle research and conservation group.”
The cookies will be available every day in June, and the cake slices every Wednesday and Saturday throughout the month at both their Disney Springs and East End Market locations. Limit 2 per person while supplies last each day.
You might remember the Rainbow Crunch Cake from last year, and it’s back this year. During Pride Month, the Rainbow Crunch Cake Slices are available every day of June. This 3-Layer Vanilla Confetti Cake is covered with multi-colored Marshmallow Buttercream and laced with crunchy Rainbow Crumbs! “Like all Gideon’s cakes, this prideful blast of color is scratch-made by hand and made with all the love for all people always!”
