Developers have finally announced that the seven-story luxury hotel that will replace the recently closed Anabella Hotel in Anaheim will be the Westin Anaheim Resort.
The popular Anabella, which sits just south of Disneyland and near the Anaheim Convention Center, welcomed its final guests last month after developers announced a AAA four-diamond rated hotel would be replacing it. The high-end hotel will be built in order to take advantage of a tax incentive that had been offered by the City of Anaheim.
The new property will including 613 rooms, with 101 of those being suites. The hotel will also offer three restaurants, a pool, a roof-top lounge, and 42,000 square feet of convention space.
Groundbreaking on the Westin Anaheim Resort is set for September 13th, with the hotel expected to open in 2019.
