Permits Shed Some Light on What Might Be in Store for the Marvel Themed Land

An article recently published by the Los Angeles Times shared new details about the future Marvel-themed land coming to Disney California Adventure.

The permits that have been filed with the city of Anaheim make it clear that the new land will include retail space, a microbrewery, a character meet-and-greet area, a remodeled bathroom, and more. Specific details are still limited, but certain technical features can be extrapolated from the permits, for example, the apparent merchandise space will be 2,071-square-feet.

We do know a Spider-Man themed interactive attraction is coming to the land, but again the details attraction have not been officially announced. Disney has not confirmed any of these details but will likely announce everything coming to the Marvel-themed land at the upcoming 2019 D23 Expo in August.

The project is known on permits as the “Golden State Expansion” according to Disney Parks expert Matthew Gottula.
