Pirates of the Caribbean’s Classic Talking Skull Returns

The talking skull has returned to the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction in the Magic Kingdom! Just before the drop, thunder rumbles and the skull’s eyes flash with a strike of lightning. The talking skull has a few brief words for the guests, but unfortunately for Disney traditionalists the voice is no longer the dialogue from legendary Disney Imagineer Xavier Atencio. This addition is part of Disney adding a PhotoPass photo to the attraction!

Disney removed the classic talking skull from the Magic Kingdom’s Pirates of the Caribbean attraction in 2006.
