Disney Vacation Club has released the points chart for the upcoming Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, which is projected to open on December 17th of this year. Key on-sale and booking dates have also been unveiled – let’s dive in!
Island Tower Booking Dates
Sales begin for current DVC members starting October 1st, 2024. Beginning October 15th, current and add-on DVC Members can start to book stays at the Island Tower with points.
Sales open to the public on October 29th, and those new members can start to book points-based stays starting November 5th. Finally, all DVC Members can begin booking points-based stays on November 15th. Here’s a timeline of key Island Tower booking dates:

For those booking with cash instead of DVC points, opening week rates start at $826 per night for a Duo Studio with a Standard View, and go up to $5,016 per night for a 2-Bedroom Penthouse with a theme park view. (Discounts may be available for Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, and Florida Residents.)
Island Tower Accommodations
The new Island Tower will feature 268 new rooms across five different categories, offering a variety of room types with points requirements tailored to different accommodation sizes and room views.
Duo Studios | Perfect for 2 Guests, these Studios offer an outdoor patio and kitchenette, plus vibrant artwork inspired by both Moana and the sky element. Points range from 12 to 43 per night.
Deluxe Studios | These earth-themed rooms that sleep up to 4 majestically showcase the flora and fauna of the islands, and offer an outdoor patio and kitchenette with a dishwasher. Points range from 14 to 53 per night.
1-Bedroom Villas | Discover beautiful water-inspired artwork in Villas that sleep up to 5 and feature an outdoor patio, full kitchen, spacious living area, 2 bathrooms and a washer and dryer. Points range from 28 to 98 per night.
2-Bedroom Villas | In addition to everything the 1-Bedroom Villas offer, these Villas—themed to both water and earth—have a third luxurious bathroom and sleep up to 9. Points range from 44 to 149 per night.
NEW 2-Bedroom Penthouse Villas | These Villas—which also celebrate water and earth—sleep up to 8 and feature all the amenities of the other Villas, plus extraordinary views of Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom park, as well as Disney’s Oak Trail and Magnolia Golf Courses. Points range from 86 to 226 per night.
