Back in September, we reported that Rafiki’s Planet Watch was closing at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. While it was our understanding that the closure was for good, we’re happy to let our readers know that Disney has just announced that Rafiki’s Planet Watch, the Affection Section, and the Wildlife Express will all fully reopen this summer.
Rafiki’s Planet Watch will still include the animal encounters guests love as well as new experiences that will feature a celebration of The Lion King. While we don’t have all the details on what this means exactly, we look forward to sharing more in the near future.
