The threat of rain was on the minds of fans and Disneyland executives all week, but the weather cooperated, and the Main Street Electrical Parade returned to Disneyland last night to cheers!

Just a few thousand fans who ponied up for the $95 premier event, plus invited media, lined the parade route; and the giant drum, once again emblazoned with “Disneyland presents Main Street Electrical Parade”, made its way through Disneyland Park.

Throughout the evening, party guests relived the 1970s, when the parade first debuted, with period appropriate music blasting throughout the Park and Fantasia Ice Cream being served in the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Shop.

After the parade, guests lined up to take pictures of (and with) some of the classic floats.

Most attractions were open as well, with almost no wait, but the focus was the parade.

The Main Street Electrical Parade’s official premier is tonight, January 20th, and the parade is scheduled to run through June 18, 2017.
