There is a small community of residents that live in one of the three Disney created government districts. Later this year a group of these residents will vote on whether or not to approve an $80 million bond, which will pay for future road and parking construction throughout Walt Disney World.
These residents pay lot rent to Disney, and one of their responsibilities they have as residents of the Disney-created government districts is to vote on bond elections. Many of the residents are Reedy Creek improvement district workers and retirees. In 2013 the residents voted, and approved, the Disney Springs transportation bonds in a 17-2 vote.
