Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort at Walt Disney World has been undergoing a major refurbishment and we’re happy to share today that reservations are now open for Sebastian’s Bistro, one of two new restaurants coming to the resort.
Sebastian’s Bistro is described as a “casual, family-friendly table service restaurant” and will feature a menu that combines “Latin and Caribbean flavors with market-fresh ingredients served up with warm island hospitality and waterfront views.”
The newly revealed menu features a variety of items from seafood and steak to salads, sandwiches, and burgers, balancing traditional spices with tropical flavors. Pictured below are two new appetizers – Caribbean Pull-Apart Rolls (served with guava butter, mango chutney, and Jamaican jerk oil), Jamaican Meat Pies with Guajillo chili sauce, or the Arepa with slow-cooked pork and chili-mango barbecue sauce.
Signature entrées will include Skirt Steak “Chimichurri” with crispy yuca, Citrus-Stuffed Sustainable Whole Fish with turmeric brown rice and cilantro-lime vinaigrette, and Sautéed Shrimp and Tamales with sautéed peppers and salsa verde. Additionally, the Crab Cake-topped Burger with lettuce, tomato, and horseradish mayonnaise or the Crispy Avocado Bacon Burger with chimichurri and pico de gallo if you’re more in the mood for a burger with a bit of Caribbean flair.
There are several vegan options available as well such as the Island Curry “Eggless” Sandwich that is served on multigrain bread and the Plant-Based Bahn Mi Sandwich with cucumbers, pickled vegetables, and Miso-Sriracha mayonnaise.
Equally as important as the savory menu items, dessert is plentiful with tropical fruit flavors. Inspired by the culture of Key West, the Mile Marker Zero features Iced Key Lime Pops with sea salt and tropical sauce. The Banoffee Pie has banana custard and chocolate ganache served in a graham cracker tart with caramel sauce and the Floating Island Sundae is served with fresh Caribbean fruit, meringue, guava, and Guanabana sorbet.
The kids’ menu features some Caribbean flair as well with entrees such as Whole Grain Penne with zucchini and roasted tomato sauce, Jerk Grilled Chicken, Grilled Shrimp Skewer with Cilantro-Lime Cream, and a Jamaican Meat Pie. Sides items include sautéed green beans, mac and cheese, pizza biscuits, cauli-fries with carrot ketchup, and more.
Tropical island-inspired, non-alcoholic fruity and frozen mocktails to island-inspired cocktails with Caribbean rums are also available for everyone in the family. Guests can customize their own rum flight or choose from an assortment of Caribbean and domestic craft beers. There are plenty of wines that complement the Latin flavors of the menu to choose from as well.
Reservations are highly recommended and can be made either online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.
