According to the OC Register, “Voluntary severance packages were offered to senior staffers, those with longer terms of service or nearing retirement.” Also, as part of an ongoing reorganization under new company president Bob Weis, several people at WDI have been moved to other areas in the company; some of these positions are at a lower pay level. بيتواي

The staff had been increased while the company was working on the design and opening of Shanghai Disneyland, but now that the project has been completed (the park opened in June), not as many employees are needed. لعبة البلاك جاك

A Disney spokesman said, “Walt Disney Imagineering is a project-based organization, and we continually evaluate and adjust our resources to support the design and development of Disney theme parks, resorts and experiences around the globe.”

An exact number of reductions was not released, but before the reduction, WDI employed more than 2,000 designers and engineers. Disney did say “the number of layoffs was a low single-digit percentage.”

Projects that are currently in the works for Disney are Star Wars lands at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a Guardians of the Galaxy remake of Tower of Terror at Disney California Adventure, and a new Avatar land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

So, it should come as no surprise that one of her family's favorite ways to spend time is going to Walt Disney World and traveling on Disney Cruise Line. She also enjoys shopping, watching movies with her husband and doing crafts with and for her kids.
