Star Wars Episode 8 gets release date

While Star Wars fans count down to the release of The Force Awakens, the franchise’s first film in 10 years, Disney and Lucasfilm announced today that the time between Episode 7 and 8 won’t be as long as anticipated. Episode 7 will debut on December 18th, 2015 and Episode 8 will be released on May 26, 2017. لعبت البوكر The film, written and directed by Rian Johnson (Looper) has yet to get a title.

In additional news, the first “standalone” film in the Star Wars universe will open on December 16, 2016. The film, titled Rogue One, will star Felicity Jones (The Theory of Everything) and will be directed by Gareth Edwards (2014’s Godzilla). No plot details have been released about Rogue One or the other announced standalone film helmed by Josh Trank (Chronicle).
