You may have heard Craig and Steve mention [on their vlog last week] the new Royal Tea Garden tour that is available to guests as part of the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival.
Today, the Disney Parks Blog made some more details available and we wanted to share them with you.
The Royal Tea Garden Tour is available for booking as part of an additional experience this year. You’ll check in at 9:30 a.m. near the Rose and Crown Dining Room in the United Kingdom Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase, then head to the tea garden for a 45-minute experience that will include scones with Earl Grey butter, clotted cream and jam, and, tea. You’ll get to hear about the Twinings family (selling tea since 1706) and learn all about the diversity of tea. Part of the fun is being in World Showcase before the park opens – you can take your tea and scones to the beautiful garden and enjoy until the park opens at 11:00 a.m.
The cost for this tour is $15 per person plus Epcot admission; the tour begins at 9:45 a.m.; call (407) WDW-TOUR to book.
