TEA & AECOM Release Global Attraction Attendance Report

The 2023 edition of the TEA (Themed Entertainment Association) and AECOM’s Global Attractions Attendance Report was released Thursday. This report tracks attendance across major theme parks and shows interesting shifts this year as the industry recovers from the impacts of the pandemic.

Here are some highlights from the report:

  1. Magic Kingdom in Florida remains the most visited theme park in North America, continuing its reign as the top attraction.
  2. Disneyland in California also retains a high position, securing its spot as the second most visited park.
  3. EPCOT saw significant growth this year, moving up in the rankings due to a nearly 20% increase in attendance, partly driven by new attractions and events.
  4. Universal Studios Hollywood and Islands of Adventure in Orlando continue to be strong performers, with Universal’s new developments expected to keep these parks competitive in the coming years.
