Test of the Walt Disney World bus wait times taking place

WDW News Today is reporting that a test of the Disney World bus wait times has begun. Guests may have noticed that LCD screens have been installed at many of the resort bus stops recently. The site says that long-range readers will track guests’ MagicBands, making note of when they leave one bus station and arrive at another. This will give an accurate picture of how long it takes the buses to travel from one destination to another.

The test is on the bus route between the Magic Kingdom and Port Orleans Resort. There are no details as to when the test will end.

Leah grew up in a little farming town in Illinois, right on the Mississippi River. Her Chicago-born husband, David, left the city for her, and they're now raising their three children (Jacob, Jonah and Lydia) just 12 miles from her hometown. As the Senior Editor of the DIS (wdwinfo.com), Leah spends a lot of time writing about, reading about, and discussing Disney. So, it should come as no surprise that one of her family's favorite ways to spend time is going to Walt Disney World and traveling on Disney Cruise Line. She also enjoys shopping, watching movies with her husband and doing crafts with and for her kids.
