The Edison, a new “Industrial Gothic” restaurant and bar, will open in The Landing area at Disney Springs in 2016. Operated by the Patina Restaurant Group and Kinetescape’s Andrew Meieran, the eatery is reminiscent of its sister location in Los Angeles. The Edison’s décor is themed like a 1920s power plant and is filled with themed areas and entertainment, serving American food and craft cocktails. Palm readers, DJs, contortionists and more will entertain patrons. The various rooms in the space will be “The Lab performance space, The Ember Parlour, Telegraph Lounge, The Patent Office, The Tesla Lounge, The Radio Room, and Waterfront Patio.”

Leah grew up in a little farming town in Illinois, right on the Mississippi River. Her Chicago-born husband, David, left the city for her, and they're now raising their three children (Jacob, Jonah and Lydia) just 12 miles from her hometown. As the Senior Editor of the DIS (wdwinfo.com), Leah spends a lot of time writing about, reading about, and discussing Disney. So, it should come as no surprise that one of her family's favorite ways to spend time is going to Walt Disney World and traveling on Disney Cruise Line. She also enjoys shopping, watching movies with her husband and doing crafts with and for her kids.
