The Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree is one of the best-kept secrets in Disneyland Park. Concealed away in the tree line of Critter Country, the Hungry Bear Restaurant, now Barbecue Jamboree, is the perfect little hideaway spot to enjoy a cool breeze from the Rivers of America and find a shady spot to rest. While historically, the food at this dining location hasn’t been consistently praised, I’ve always enjoyed a few of the staple items here that are consistently good, like the Farmland Chicken Salad (though, sadly, this one doesn’t seem to be on the new menu).
The dining location has been closed for refurbishment for a while now and has just been given a reopening date! Later this month, on October 25th, guests can once again enjoy this picturesque snack stop. I can’t wait for this little dining location to reopen in time to serve as the perfect rest stop after a visit to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, opening November 15th, 2024! Don’t forget to take a look at the new menu for this dining experience released earlier this year.
