The Jingle Cruise re-opens at the Magic Kingdom for the Christmas season

The Jingle Cruise returned to the Magic Kingdom today, marking the beginning of the Christmas season. Yes, Halloween was just yesterday.

Since 2013, the Jungle Cruise has been re-themed for the holidays, getting a new storyline, new decorations, and even a few new jokes. The Jungle Cruise Skippers are homesick and decided to use what they can find to make new decorations for the boathouse. The boats have been re-named and a holiday-themed radio broadcast can be heard playing in the background.

The Jingle Cruise will stay open through the holidays, including during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

It’s cheesy, but fun, and isn’t that what the Jungle Cruise is all about?

Leah grew up in a little farming town in Illinois, right on the Mississippi River. Her Chicago-born husband, David, left the city for her, and they're now raising their three children (Jacob, Jonah and Lydia) just 12 miles from her hometown. As the Senior Editor of the DIS (wdwinfo.com), Leah spends a lot of time writing about, reading about, and discussing Disney. So, it should come as no surprise that one of her family's favorite ways to spend time is going to Walt Disney World and traveling on Disney Cruise Line. She also enjoys shopping, watching movies with her husband and doing crafts with and for her kids.
