Two buses crashed on Disney property on Sunday, October 16, sending one person to the hospital with minor injuries. The incident happened around 8:30am at Buena Vista Drive and Victory Way, which is near Hollywood Studios and Caribbean Beach Resort.
The Florida Highway Patrol says one of the drivers was transported to Celebration Health with minor injuries; there were no passengers on either bus. The buses sustained significant damage, as seen in the photo above. They both had to be hauled away by large tow trucks.
No one has been cited in the accident. Highway Patrol Sgt. Kim Montes said, “We’re going to be looking over video captured in both of the buses to see who is at fault in the crash.”
The intersection was closed for 30 minutes, but then reopened.
