If you were hoping to ring in the new year with fireworks at Walt Disney World, you’re in luck. The Walt Disney World website has been updated to show that guests will have two different fireworks shows to choose from on December 31st.
Guests visiting Magic Kingdom on New Year’s Eve (and the night before) will have the chance to see Fantasy in the Sky fireworks at 11:50pm. If EPCOT is your park of choice on the 31st, Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration fireworks will begin at 11:54pm and countdown to midnight.
It’s worth noting that the nightly fireworks shows, Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom and Harmonious at EPCOT, will shift to a performance time of 6:30pm on New Year’s Eve. Magic Kingdom’s Disney Enchantment will move to 6:30pm on December 30th as well.
As of now, Magic Kingdom is slated to remain open until 1am and EPCOT will remain open until midnight.
