Plans posted by the South Florida Water Management District seem to indicate that a new family raft ride is coming to Typhoon Lagoon.
Poster danlb_2000 first posted the permits on the WDWMAGIC forums showing where foundation footers will be for the new family raft ride. No details have been set on a potential opening date for the new water attraction and no official announcement has been made by Disney at this time.

Some are speculating that this could be a response to Universal’s Volcano Bay water theme park coming in 2017, or just an update to the Disney water park that hasn’t seen a new attraction since Crush ‘n’ Gusher.
