Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be opening at Magic Kingdom this summer! Recently, Disney has been sharing detailed looks inside the attraction and telling the story of the critters we’ll see. Now, they’ve hit a new milestone on the path to the opening date. Disney has announced two stores will open up along with the attraction – the Critter Co-Op and Tiana’s Bayou General!
Disneyland previously announced it would be getting two gift shops for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure as well. Those announcements included Ray’s Berets featuring headware, apparel, accessories, toys, and more. Ray’s Berets took over the Disneyland location for The Briar Patch shop. The other store is Louis’ Critter Club featuring apparel, accessories, home decor, and more. Louis’ Critter Club is taking over part of the Pooh Corner shop.
At Magic Kingdom, Critter Co-Op is going in the former location of the Briar Patch shop and Tiana’s Bayou General will be the exit gift shop located in the former location of Splashdown Gifts. If it follows the same model as Disneyland, Critter Co-Op should feature headware, apparel, accessories, toys, and more. Tiana’s Bayou General should feature apparel, accessories, home decor, and more along with on-ride photos.
There still isn’t an opening date for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom, but testing is well underway, critters are being revealed all the time, and you can even hear the ride music if you’re lucky. Stay tuned for an official opening date for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure soon!
