Surprisingly enough, the latest entry into the series of after hours events has not yet sold out, so the Disneyland Resort has released a few more details to get folks excited about Disneyland After Dark: Heroes Assemble.
The event will be held at Disney California Adventure both April 30th and May 1st from 9:00pm to 1:00am each night. Tickets are $109 each.
Disney has confirmed that some of your favorite super heroes will be in attendance, including Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, and Iron Man. They did not mention if those heroes would be posing for pictures or just be part of a show, however there WILL be plenty of immersive photo backdrops available to keep your social media buzzing. Guests at the event will also receive unlimited digital Disney PhotoPass downloads of photos taken that night.
To quench your super thirst, the popular Infinity Gauntlet Sipper Cup will be available during the event along with a special menu of treats, including special hero-themed churros!
Super entertainment includes a meet and greet with voice actress & author Ashley Eckstein, a dance party that will include heroic show moments, and a park-wide scavenger hunt that will have guests solving puzzles to save mankind.
Of course, many of the parks popular attractions will be open and will (hopefully) feature much shorter waits, including Guardians of the Galaxy-Mission: BREAKOUT! Though the party elements don’t start until 9:00pm, ticketed guests can enter California Adventure beginning at 6:00pm to experience their favorite attractions early.
Since this is a special event, guests CAN wear costumes, but must still adhere to Disneyland Resort rules similar to those for Mickey’s Halloween Party.
All Guests may dress as their favorite character, but may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests. Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent. Costumes may not contain any items that resemble (or could easily be mistaken for) an actual weapon. Costumes may not contain sharp/pointed objects or materials that may accidentally strike another Guest. Layered costumes or costume props that surround the entire body are strongly discouraged and may be subject to additional security screening. Costumes may not reach or drag on the ground (e.g., full-length Princess dresses).
Guests 13 and Under: Costumes may be worn as well as some masks, as long as the entire face isn’t covered and eyes are visible.
Guests 14 and Older: Capes may be worn if the length does not go below the waist. Themed T-shirts, blouses, sweatshirts and hats are permitted. Acceptable accessories include transparent wings, plastic light sabers, toy swords and tutus. Headwear may be worn as long as it does not cover the face. Masks of any kind may not be worn, except for medical purposes.
