A Georgia woman was arrested recently after Disney security guards at Epcot discovered two guns and a bag of marijuana in her diaper bag.
The July 18th arrest record shows that Yunique Smith, 27, was visiting Walt Disney World with her 7-year-old son, 7-month-old daughter, and the baby’s father. During the normal screening process, Disney security found a semi-automatic 9mm handgun that was “in plain view” and a bag of marijuana in her diaper bag.
After Orange County deputy sheriffs were called to the scene, the bag was searched further and a .45 caliber handgun was found in the bottom of the diaper bag.
Smith faces charges of carrying a concealed weapon and possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana.
Disney did not respond to the Orlando Sentinel’s request for comment.
