Disney’s Animal Kingdom is always a great place to hunt for souvenirs that feel a little different from the usual lineup. And right now, there are a few more off-the-wall finds — today, I’m sharing three that I recently stumbled upon…
Tree of Life Succulent Decor | $54.99
One of the more eye-catching pieces is the Tree of Life succulent planter. This sculpted item features a fully molded base inspired by the iconic Tree of Life, complete with detailed animal carvings wrapping around the trunk. The top portion somewhat resembles the leafy canopy of the baobab tree, while faux succulents fill in the rest.
This is priced at $54.99, found at several shops around the park. While I do wish this was just the trunk base, with the faux succulent or your own plant for a better full tree look, it’s still a fun, display-worthy piece that captures the spirit of the park.
Ahi Tuna Nachos T-Shirt | $30
Over in the Asia section, there’s a more niche find that Yak & Yeti die-hards will fall in love with. Near the register at the outdoor market by Yak & Yeti Restaurant’s quick-service window, a limited-run T-shirt has appeared.
The design features the restaurant’s well-loved Ahi Tuna Nachos(!!), featuring a towering plate of the delicacy, a reflection of Mount Everest in a drinking glass (also reminiscent of the mountain of nachos), and the phrase “if you know, you know.”
— We couldn’t believe our eyes when we stumbled upon this!
The shirt also includes “Yak & Yeti Orlando” branding, and the Yak & Yeti restaurant’s 2-story building in the background, with credit given to its designer, Kaitlyn, on the inner tag.
According to management Cast Members, this is the last batch expected until at least late April. Blink and you’ll miss it!

Discovery Series Starbucks Mug | $24.99
Rounding things out is the current Starbucks mug exclusive to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, found at Creature Comforts. Like other park-specific Discovery Series designs, it’s packed with references, from Expedition Everest and Kilimanjaro Safaris to Pandora – The World of Avatar, with floating mountains, a banshee and the Pongu Lumpia snack. You’ll also find Up‘s own Kevin who roams the Discovery Island area.
But what really stands out is the inclusion of the recently-closed DINOSAUR attraction, represented by a Carnotaurus. As merchandise (and lands) evolve, this mug is one of the last currently available items to honor DinoLand U.S.A.!
