With the extinction of Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama happening this weekend, I knew there was one thing left I had to do. After saying some fond farewells to my favorite Walt Disney World gift shop -Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures-, unsuccessfully taking one last photo strip inside the Dino-Rama Photo Booth since it was *OUT OF ORDER*, and boarding a turquoise Triceratops for one last flight above DinoLand…
I just needed to find those cute chipmunk boys in their brightly-colored dinosaur pajamas.
For the last few years, Chip and Dale have been meeting and greeting within DinoLand U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in adorable dinosaur costumes. Since they were dressed in vibrant colors, I assumed they would be going away along with the rest of the quirky elements of Dino-Rama. I’ve been meaning to grab a photo with them all this time, but leave it to me to wait until the “last possible” moment.
Well, it turns out, this land-specific meet and greet is here to stay– for now, at least! They’re not being grouped in with the rest of Dino-Rama’s closures. Just like DINOSAUR, we’ve got the rest of 2025 to meet and strike a pose with these cute Cretaceous critters!
You can find Chip & Dale in their chipmunk-o-saurus wear within the Cretaceous Trail, to the left of DINOSAUR.
