Nothing makes me happier than seeing good things happen for those needing extra magic during the holidays, so today, I was super excited to see these images from Disney. Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse were on a mission to spread holiday cheer around the local children’s hospitals of Orlando during the month of December. The Disney pals visited patients and their families, bringing smiles all around. Take a look at some of the special moments captured below:

With each room visit, we saw magical moments turn into transformational experiences for the families and children, providing a special space where they were able to create new happy memories together – and we’re excited for these visits to continue regularly in the new year.
“It’s hard to put into words how it felt to bring a little light and see these patients simply be kids,”
Stefanie Steele, Senior Manager – Corporate Social Responsibility.
“I’m proud to work for a company that cares so deeply about making positive impacts in the lives of people and the places we call home.”
We’re also delivering extra pixie dust this season through the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive, supporting the Marine Toys for Tots Program – a tradition now 75 years in the making. This year, Walt Disney World cast members and visiting guests donated more than 40,000 toys to help local children and families in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. I hope this warmed your heart as much as it did mine. Of course, the real credit goes to our hard-working hospital staff, who dedicate their lives to helping us in our time of extreme darkness. I want to take this opportunity to echo the sentiments of Disney in saying thank you to hospitals and emergency staff around the globe. It’s hard for the average person to understand how truly amazing you are until they come across you in their time of need. But when we do, you are there, doing an incredible job to keep everyone safe and well, in any way possible. Thank you.
