The France booth is always a shining star at EPCOT festivals and this year’s Food and Wine Festival was no exception! We tried a wide variety from the menu and overall thought it was great!
Brioche aux Escargots – Escargot brioche with garlic and parsley cream – $7.95. This was a winner! The garlic flavor with the tender escargot was delicious. The portion size also made it somewhat shareable, but we’re not sure we want to share!
Molleux aux Oignons Caramelises et au Fromage de Chevre – egg moelleux, goat cheese, and caramelized onions – $7.95. This goat cheese, onion tart reminded me a lot of a quiche and was very filling. I thought the sweetness of caramelized onions paired nicely with the goat cheese. I only wish there had been more goat cheese!
Frozen French Cosmo – vodka, Grey Goose Le Citron Vodka, Grand Marnier, and cranberry juice – $14.95. The martini slush featured at each EPCOT festival is always on my must-have list…. cheers fellow martini moms! The Frozen French Cosmo might be one of the best versions France has ever made! The citrus and tang of both the Le Citron Vodka and the cranberry juice made it light and oh-so refreshing.

Creme Brulee Mangue et Passion a la Confiture – mango passion crème brulee with fruit compote – $5.95. When in France, you can’t not get dessert, right? The mango and passion flavors were more subtle than we expected but in a good way. We didn’t really find any fruit compote but the caramelized sugar was perfectly crisp. The filling wasn’t as firm as we would have liked but overall felt the value and the taste of this sweet treat was solid!
