EPCOT is about to get a little more Canadian… and a lot more cheesy.
Beginning July 1, guests visiting World Showcase will be able to stop by La Poutinerie, a new quick-service location in the Canada Pavilion hosted by Air Canada. The opening date lands on Canada Day, making it a fitting debut for the new food stand dedicated to one of the country’s most famous comfort foods.
La Poutinerie takes over the space previously occupied by Refreshment Port, which closed earlier this year on January 12.
Located between the Canada and World Showcase Plaza, the new venue is now listed in the My Disney Experience app, giving us an early look at the full menu and pricing before opening day. Of course, poutine is the star of the menu. Guests will be able to choose from two varieties when the location opens:
The first is Québec: L’Authentique ($10.99), a traditional version featuring french fries topped with cheese curds and brown gravy.
For those looking for something heartier, Montréal: Viande Fumée ($12.49) adds smoked meat, pickles, and mustard gravy to the classic combination.
In addition to the poutine offerings, La Poutinerie will serve a lineup of beverages inspired by Canadian flavors. Among the non-alcoholic selections is a Spiced Apple Slushy ($6.29), made with frozen ginger beer blended with lime and spiced apple flavors. Guests can also purchase Coca-Cola fountain beverages, DASANI bottled water, and smartwater.
For adults 21+, the menu also includes:
- Frozen Spiced Apple Mule ($14.50) featuring Iceberg Canadian Vodka
- Unibroue La Fin du Monde Belgian-style Tripel Ale ($14.00)
- Molson Canadian Lager ($10.75)
- Domaine Ste. Michelle Brut ($7.50)
- Jackson-Triggs Reserve Red Blend ($12.00)
La Poutinerie is part of Air Canada’s sponsorship as the Official Canadian Airline of Walt Disney World Resort. With a dedicated menu celebrating Canadian cuisine and beverages, the new location adds another unique stop for exploring World Showcase.
We won’t have to wait much longer to give it a try, as La Poutinerie officially opens July 1 at EPCOT!
