The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, a treasured Disney tradition and one of America’s longest-running dinner shows, is celebrating its 50th anniversary at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort!
For 50 years, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue has delighted audiences with its excellent mix of timeless entertainment, delicious food, and genuine joy. The lively performances entertain guests of all ages, bringing comedy and family fun together to the dinner table. The all-you-care-to-enjoy meal, including delicious crispy fried chicken and BBQ smoked ribs, is served family-style, so diners should be sure to arrive hungry.
The servers, culinary team, and leadership cast members have created a truly immersive experience where singing, dancing, and guest interactions blend to create lasting memories for all. Sometimes, especially if you are sitting at a table on the first floor in front of the stage, a member of your party might get selected to play a washboard with a spoon! This has been known to happen on upper-level seating, too. We’ve even seen guests invited on stage to join certain parts of the show with a costume and everything! It’s all in good fun, so don’t hesitate to join in. If participating is not your cup of tea, you can always mention that to your server.
One of my favorite things about the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review is that no matter how many times you go, the show will be a little different each time. What will be the same every time is the absolutely incredible strawberry shortcake!
You’ll definitely want to save room for dessert, as it’s the perfect way to end the evening. You’ll know when it’s dessert time, as the performers will even give you a hint!
