Did You Try the Gideon’s Bakehouse Goth Cake Yesterday?

Despite all of my best efforts to keep up with the national and international celebration days throughout the year, it would seem that yesterday I missed celebrating World Goth Day! Luckily, the masterminds at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs had the occasion covered with a very unique Gideon’s Bakehouse Goth Cake! Check out the details below, it was very impressive!

The Gideon’s Bakehouse Goth Cake fills your soul with three layers of Black Cocoa Chocolate Cake covered in a Black Cocoa Buttercream laced with a deep red Triple Berry Jam (Blue, Black, and Raspberries). Not enough? That was then covered in Black Ganache and a bed of Black Buttercream Roses. Gideon’s Bakehouse added, “We’re all about the dark, but black food coloring isn’t appetizing, so this one is almost entirely black cocoa with a dash of gel and cocoa butter coloring when needed!”

Did you get a chance to try this dark and divine offering? We want to know what you thought of it!

If you are a fan of this boutique bakehouse in Disney Springs, don’t miss the heartfelt response issued earlier this week by the owner, clarifying some anonymous statements that were made on social media.
