Have you ever gone to the AMC theaters in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World? I have been numerous times, but never before Disney Springs opened. It is a great rainy-day activity or for days when you don’t want to visit a theme park.
I was concerned about parking and getting to the theater during the hours that Disney Springs isn’t open.
I should not have worried. Of course, Disney has it all figured out.

My major concern was where to park if the parking garages are closed until 10 AM? You can park in the Orange garage (near the West Side). If you park on the second floor the security checkpoint is to the left of the elevators. There is someone there checking your movie tickets to allow you access to the security checkpoint. We did see people get turned away because they didn’t have tickets. They were told to come back at 10 AM.

We had purchased our movie tickets online. They do have ticket machines outside the theater.

You can do online ordering for your food and beverages. They do have dine-in available in select theaters.

Going to the movies in Disney Springs is a great rainy-day activity or when you just can’t walk any further in a theme park. It was great going early in the day; it wasn’t crowded in Disney Springs or the theater.

‘Til next time, see you in the parks!
