Let’s Meet the Newest Member of the Disney Munchlings Family!

Around this time last year, I became the biggest Disney Munchlings fan. Now, my display cabinet is filled with all types of Munchlings from different collections. Last week, Disney announced an event to unveil the newest Munchlings at Disney Springs, and of course, I had to be there.

This event started at 9:05, and they gave each guest a wristband, which guaranteed everyone the ability to purchase the new plush and the opportunity to meet the chef who created the dessert and idea. At 9:30 a.m., they started a demonstration on how they made the dessert that the new plush is modeled after. Chef Amanda deeply loves Heimlich from A Bug’s Life, and you could see her excitement while she explained why she chose this character as her inspiration. At 10 a.m., they let guests into World of Disney to purchase the Heimlich Munchlings and to join the queue to meet the chef.

Meanwhile, I was just so happy to be there and watch them unveil this new Disney Munchlings, and the desserts served at Amorette’s Patisserie. Anyway, I could ramble for hours about how much I love this product and loved being there, but let’s jump into some of the pictures from the event.

The Heimlich Disney Munchlings

Of course, I bought this cutie to add him to my collection. Each guest could purchase two Heimlich Disney Munchlings maximum. Recently, new Disney Munchlings have been scentless, which is very sad, but I’m sure there’s a valid reason why they stopped doing that. I can happily report that this one smells like chocolate.

Hi, I'm Erica, and I write about all things Disney. Before working for The DIS, I was a theme park performer at SeaWorld, but I also performed at Disney. I have such an immense love for theme parks to the point I studied them in college.
