Summer at Walt Disney World just got a whole lot sweeter… and zestier! The Flavors of Florida event is making its mouthwatering return to Disney Springs from June 27th through August 10th, and this year marks the biggest yet, with over 90 limited-time food and drink offerings across 45+ locations!
Whether you’re a foodie, a Florida native, or just someone who appreciates a refreshing cocktail and a breezy boat ride, there’s something for everyone at this deliciously sunny festival.

What Is Flavors of Florida?
Now in its sixth year, Flavors of Florida is a summer-long showcase of the best tastes Florida has to offer — think locally sourced ingredients; fresh citrus flavors, local honey, seafood, and cheeses, incorporated into loads of creative dishes. Pick up a Flavors of Florida Event Guide (found at Disney Springs) or peruse the Foodie Guide to plan out your stops!
Must-Try Flavors (That We Already Can’t Stop Thinking About)
As invited media, we were lucky enough to get an early taste at a preview event — and these dishes were absolute standouts we’ll be coming back for all summer:
Pizza alla Vodka from Terralina Crafted Italian | A perfectly crisp pie topped with creamy vodka sauce, melty locally-sourced burrata and basil that just sings summer.
Strawberry Jelly Donut from Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew | Bursting with fresh Florida strawberries and gooey jelly, this is a sunshine-filled treat in every bite. I intended to only take one bite of this to try… but couldn’t put it down.
Cóctel de Camarones from Frontera Cocina | Grilled Florida pink shrimp with a tangy, spicy, Mexican cocktail sauce, filled with avocado, jicama, cucumber, jalapeño, cilantro, and lime; served with crunchy corn chips. This was the winner of the day for me, I’ll be craving this until I return!
Tupelo Chicken & Biscuits from Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ | Fried chicken biscuits dressed with fresh dill, and parsley-ranch slaw, slightly drizzled with Tupelo honey. You can’t go wrong with crispy chicken and fluffy biscuits from Homecomin’; yet the Tupelo honey adds a deep buttery and slightly floral flavor, making these southern sandwiches absolutely crave-worthy.
The Honey Bee Cocktail from Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ | Tom Cat gin, honey syrup and fresh squeezed lemon, with house-made honey foam and garnished with dripping honeycomb. This was a refreshing and lightly sweet gin cocktail that paired really well with the Tupelo chicken biscuit. Add this to Chloé’s “repeat visit” list!
Key Lime Pie Milkshake from House of Blues Restaurant | This is exactly as you’d hope it would taste… like a fresh, authentic Key Lime Pie, transformed into an icy, creamy treat for summer. Made with smooth vanilla ice cream, tangy fresh-squeezed Key Lime juice, and topped with a miniature fresh-made Key Lime Pie tart.
Don’t Miss the Merch & More
Make sure to stop into Disney Springs’ retail shops for exclusive Orange Bird merchandise and Florida-inspired decor (you might have seen some of this before, maybe for EPCOT’s Flower & Garden festival, but he’s back for the FL festivities!). Many other shops are leaning into the theme with bright, tropical displays and photo-worthy setups.
Bonus Tip: Arrive by Boat!
Here’s a tip for the perfect way to do Flavors of Florida: Book your stay at Port Orleans Riverside or French Quarter so you can skip the bus stop bustle and hop aboard a Sassagoula River Boat. These offer a more peaceful, scenic ride to and from your flavor-packed adventure. Trust us, the return trip is the perfect time for a food coma nap.
