It’s that time of year when Walt Disney World comes alive with its holiday decorations. I have always enjoyed the decorated Christmas trees at Disney Springs. I enjoyed it when they had the Christmas trees in the area that was the former bus stop. This year, you can find the themed trees all over Disney Springs. Be sure to pick up a Christmas Tree Stroll map to avoid missing any of them. You should also bring one of your MagicBands because some of the trees have special effects.
When you pick up your map, be sure to use the stickers for the trees that you view. If you can, take the completed map to one of the stores listed, and you will receive a special surprise.
We started in the Marketplace area.
Santa has a new home this year in the Marketplace. He is located near Disney’s Pin Traders. It was the former Star Wars Trading Post. There is a virtual queue for your visit with Santa. If you are unsure where that is, it is next to the Lefty’s booth.
Did you know you can write a letter to Santa and have it sent directly to the North Pole in the Once Upon a Toy store?
If seeing snow puts you in the mood for the holidays, be sure to stop by after sundown and see the nightly snowfall in Town Center.
We enjoyed seeing the representation of the new Disney cruise ship, the Disney Treasure, outside of Guest Relations.
