June is bringing all the summery vibes we love, and along with the new month and PRIDE celebration, comes a new series of flavorful treats throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. We’ve already shared with you the Summer Pie Series ice cream at Salt & Straw, and the new cookie each week that can be found at Gideon’s Bakehouse. Now, it’s my duty to share with you the news that Gideon’s Bakehouse cake lovers have been hoping for. Each week in June, this famous Disney Springs snack stop will be bringing back a rare cake slice drop for limited release! Every Wednesday & Saturday, you’ll find these special slices! Which means, this first offering, ‘Steve Hates Sprinkles,’ is coming your way Saturday! Everything you need to know is below:
Released only once as a secret slice nicknamed the ‘Steve Hates Sprinkles’ cake (because I do), this Banana Split Slice returns for a very short run as part of a weekly rotation of rare Limited Edition Cake Slices! This absolute delight of a cake slice features a layer of Strawberry, Vanilla, and Chocolate Cake! Smother it all with our Banana Buttercream, fill it with housemade Candied Peanuts, and you have something extra special. Oh, and don’t forget the Chocolate Covered Cherry on top!

Limited Cakes appear on Wednesday and Saturday of each week. And for those asking about the weekly cookie rotation, each flavor will, in fact, be swapped on Sunday this month.
