In January, guests can participate in several yoga classes at Disney Springs. There are four different opportunities because there’s a session every Friday. I recently found a love for the activity and decided to push myself to take the class. I do all my yoga classes virtually, so this will be my first in-person class. I wanted to break down the event and share my experience with you just in case you have a little voice in your head saying, “you should go do yoga at Disney Springs.”
Step One: You need to register.
Signing up for the event is easy and only takes a few minutes. All you need to do is head to the Disney Springs website’s health and wellness section. Under the section labeled ‘Wellness Activities and More’ is where you can find the different classes. Under each listing, there’s a ‘view details’ section. Here is where you can find the link that says ‘reserve your spot now.’ It really is that easy, and the class is free.
Step Two: What to bring
All you need to bring is your yoga mat, a water bottle, and yourself. I attended a Fabletics-sponsored class, and they had extra mats just in case attendees forgot. They also handed guests a free bag, and it was actually a really good quality bag with ‘Health & Wellness presented by Advent Health’ embroidered on it. The instructor informed us that we could head over to the Fablectics store after the class because almost everything would be 50% off, which I thought was pretty neat.
Step Three: Enjoy Class
When I woke up, the sky was gray and heavy rain was pouring down on Central Florida, which worried me since the class was outside. Of course, they had a contingency plan that involved moving the class to a covered area. The class wasn’t too challenging; it was perfect for all levels, and the instructor had plenty of modifications for those just starting their yoga journey. This made me feel at peace and comfortable because, again, I had never taken an in-person yoga class before.
I really enjoyed the class, and I highly recommend participating, especially since it’s free. This is a perfect way to relax before a hectic park day, or if you are a local, it’s a great way to start your Friday.

Will you ever do yoga at Disney Springs? Let us know!
Hi, I'm Erica, and I write about all things Disney. Before working for The DIS, I was a theme park performer at SeaWorld, but I also performed at Disney. I have such an immense love for theme parks to the point I studied them in college.
