Disney Wastes No Time Removing 50th Medallion from Cinderella Castle

As expected, Walt Disney World has been gradually removing the 50th Anniversary celebration décor displayed around the theme parks.

The giant 50th medallion displayed on the front of Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom throughout the 18-month celebration has been removed, as you can see in the image above.

The golden swirls around the castle’s turrets still remain, though, as well as the darker pink and blue.

Do you think those swirls will stay? What about the darker colors? Do you hope they go back to the original gray and lighter blue?
