EPCOT’s World Showcase is home to the infamous Rose & Crown Pub located in the United Kingdom pavilion. Rose & Crown is both a table service lunch and dinner location, plus a walk-up pub at the front of the restaurant. Guests can enjoy a British pub atmosphere plus draft Harp, Guinness, Smithwick’s and cocktails like a Pimm’s Cup.
Just in time for spring break crowds, we’ve heard the Rose & Crown keg room is undergoing a refurbishment, which means no draft beer for the next several weeks. The good news is that the pub is still open and you can get cocktails and select bottled beers. Just expect a limited menu and a slightly longer wait to prepare the drinks.
Even better news, there is now a temporary additional Rose & Crown location with you guessed it…. draft beer! The menu hits the highlights of what you would normally find inside. Just keep in mind they are not able to offer any blends like a Black Velvet (Guinness and cider).
For the beer lovers, I would absolutely recommend visiting this pop-up location rather than going inside. You can find this temporary Rose & Crown to the right of the Captain Hook and Tick-Tock Croc topiaries heading into the United Kingdom pavilion from Canada. Not many people know about this draft beer option and it seems to remain quiet – don’t tell anyone our secret tip!
In the meantime, cheers to you, Rose & Crown! We’ll pour one out for our favorite pub until it’s back to its full operation.
