If you’ve been keeping up with my Food & Wine adventures this year, you may remember that I had yet to find that one dish I couldn’t stop thinking about. Well, that finally changed this week, and somehow I found two of them back to back. Both bring the pumpkin and fall flavors I’ve been looking for… even if I ate them while EPCOT was still serving heavy humidity and bright Florida sunshine.
The 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival runs through November 21, so there’s still time to plan a last-minute fall visit. You can catch Food & Wine alongside Walt Disney World’s Halloween season, and Disney currently has resort discounts available for select stays through the end of the year — in case you needed another excuse to come visit!

Butternut Squash and Ginger Bisque | $5.49
Location: Milled & Mulled | Butternut Squash and Ginger Bisque with Cinnamon Cream, Toasted Pumpkin Seeds, and Pumpkin Seed Oil
THIS is my favorite thing I’ve eaten at Food & Wine this year. The bisque is thick and creamy, with plenty of savory squash flavor and just enough sweetness. The cinnamon cream takes this dish over the top. It’s full of fall flavor, while the toasted pumpkin seeds add a great crunch, and pumpkin seed oil finishes everything off giving it even more of a rich flavor and feel. Seriously, could I please have a huge batch of this on Thanksgiving?

Today, I’m thankful for Butternut Squash & Ginger Bisque at EPCOT.

There’s nothing mild about this one. You get the squash, ginger, cinnamon and pumpkin flavors in every bite without it veering into pumpkin spice territory. It’s warm, rich and basically fall in soup form. I’ll happily eat this again once cooler evenings arrive in Florida!
Pumpkin-Mascarpone Ravioli | $5.49
Location: Forest & Field | Pumpkin-Mascarpone Ravioli with Brown Butter Vinaigrette, Pecorino Cheese, Pomegranate Seeds, and Hazelnut Praline

Just a few steps away, Forest & Field has my other new favorite! The pumpkin-mascarpone filling is creamy and slightly sweet, while the brown butter vinaigrette and pecorino bring in the savory side. The hazelnut praline brings a sweet, nutty crunch against the soft ravioli which honestly makes the dish, while the pomegranate seeds adding a little tartness.

It immediately reminded me of one of my longtime favorites at Palo aboard Disney Cruise ships. Palo’s Agnolotti features butternut squash in sage-brown butter and topped with amaretti. The two aren’t identical, but they share that combination of squash-filled pasta, brown butter and a sweet, crunchy topping.

What’s even better, Milled & Mulled and Forest & Field are close to each other near the walkway between the Imagination! pavilion and World Showcase, so it’s very easy to grab both for your own fall feast.

Plus, both of these booths have an adorable backstory featuring woodland critters and nearby picnic tables (which EPCOT should have more of, all the time!) — they even have some squirrel-sized tables set up.

Were these the most practical foods to eat while sweating in the Florida sun? Probably not. Did that stop me from having the time of my life with two very autumnal dishes? Absolutely not. These are the Food & Wine bites I’ve been waiting for this season. Happy fall, ya’ll!
