**UPDATE** All advisories have been cleared. There are no longer any severe weather warnings surrounding the Disney World area.
The weather in Central Florida is unpredictable, but you can always count on rain. During heavy rains, it’s not uncommon for there to be flooding through the parks.
WESH 2 just sent a flood warning for Orange County, one of the counties where Walt Disney World is located. This advisory is in place until 5:15 pm. The advisory states that there will be excessive rainfall.
Pack an umbrella and poncho if you are heading out to Walt Disney World this evening to other areas surrounding the WDW area. Make sure to seek shelter if the weather gets intense and unsafe.

Where do you like the hide while it’s raining at Walt Disney World? Let us know!
Hi, I'm Erica, and I write about all things Disney. Before working for The DIS, I was a theme park performer at SeaWorld, but I also performed at Disney. I have such an immense love for theme parks to the point I studied them in college.
