If you’re planning a summer getaway in 2026, Disney just added a splash-worthy bonus! Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests checking in between May 26th and September 8th can visit Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon on arrival day at no extra cost.
Here’s how it works: resort guests receive admission to one Disney water park on their check-in day. You can head to the park even before your room is ready, making it an easy win for early arrivals.
Tips for Arrival Day
How to Enter the Water Park: Upon arrival at the water park, use your MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or Key to the World Card to enter the park.
What About Luggage: If you don’t need to store your luggage, you can go directly to the water park on your check-in day—even if you haven’t checked in yet. Luggage is not permitted in the Disney water parks or on Disney buses. However, you can take advantage of convenient storage options:
- Luggage Storage at Your Resort Hotel: If you want to visit a water park before your room is ready, check your luggage with Bell Services at your Disney hotel. You can have your bags delivered when you return to your room.
- Locker Rentals at the Water Parks: You can take smaller items—such as a small day bag—into the water park. Each Walt Disney World water park features keyless lockers that can be used throughout the day for a one-time charge, so you can store smaller items if needed.
Getting Around: Get to and from the water park on check-in day with these transportation options:
- Parking: Disney water parks offer complimentary parking.
- Bus Transportation: Enjoy complimentary, air-conditioned bus service around Walt Disney World Resort.
- Minnie Van Service Connected by Lyft: This whimsical personal ride service, available via the Lyft app, whisks you around Walt Disney World Resort. Fees apply.
Important Information About This Benefit
- The water park benefit applies only to registered guests at Disney Resorts Collection hotels with check-in dates from May 26 to September 8, 2026. You can only use the benefit on your check-in day. It cannot be moved to another day.
- This benefit is only for registered overnight guests listed on the reservation for eligible Disney Resorts. Reach out to your Dreams Unlimited Travel agent if you need to add a guest.
- This benefit is only on the day of check-in, and is valid for admission to either Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park or Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park (whichever is open). This benefit cannot be transferred to a different day. Check the park calendar in My Disney Experience and operating hours closer to your arrival to plan your check-in day.
- Water parks are subject to extended rehabilitation, seasonal, capacity, weather closures, or may close for other reasons. Parks and offerings can change or close without notice. No refunds or credits are given for closures or changes.
- Water park admission is nontransferable, nonrefundable, has no cash value, and excludes activities/events that are separately priced or not open to the general public.
