A few months ago, during the “A Celebration of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow” presentation at Destination D23, Disney Chairman Josh D’Amaro announced that Asha from Disney’s upcoming WISH film is coming to EPCOT, Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris.
Today is the day that Asha makes her debut at EPCOT, which is very exciting. There’s nothing more exciting at Disney than a new character meet and greet, in my opinion. According to the My Disney Experience App, she will interact with guests at the World Showcase Friendship Ambassador Gazebo. This pavilion is across from Disney Traders, just before the Mexcio Pavilion.
Disney describes Asha as an optimistic dreamer and leader in the making. They also say that she cares about the people of Rosas and is proud to live in the Kingdom of Wishes.
