Is This the BEST Snack at Walt Disney World?

I recently stayed at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Walt Disney World. One day, while I was walking through the incredible BVG (Bay View Gifts) shop on the 4th floor, I noticed a huge candy case right in the middle of the store. I think it’s always fun to see fresh Disney snacks like caramel apples, giant cookies, and fudge for sale in the merchandise shops, as they’re all so pretty! Plus, a good friend of mine started her Disney career making handmade confections, so I know how much care and attention goes into each one.

But, lo and behold, when I took a closer look, the snack of ALL Disney snacks was sitting there staring at me as if it had eyes – it was the Caramel Butter Bar. Now, if you’ve never seen or eaten this glorious treat before, let me be the first to tell you that it’s the most incredible thing, especially if you’re a fan of rich, buttery Werther’s caramel. As you can see in the image below, it is a huge square sandwich of sorts with a buttery, crumbly shortbread-type cookie on the outside, and it’s filled with soft ribbons of caramel on the inside. It’s a sweet one for certain, but it’s indulgent as can be, and it’s my absolute favorite.

Back in the day, you could only find this one-of-a-kind treat at Karamell-Küche in the Germany pavilion at EPCOT, but these days, you never know where it might show up! This is such a great thing because being able to get your hands on your favorite treat at Disney without having to go into a theme park is simply perfect. At $5.29 plus tax, it’s worth every penny in my book.
