North Carolina Senators have filed a bill encouraging Walt Disney World to pack up its theme parks and resorts and move north.
‘Mickey’s Freedom Restoration Act’ was filed Wednesday to “create a study commission” to explore and develop “strategic economic incentive plans designed to encourage family parks to expand or relocate” to North Carolina.
NC Senate Minority Leader Dan Blue weighed in on Twitter, stating, “Florida doesn’t seem a good fit for the happiest place on earth these days. In NC, y’all still means all.” We, of course, know that Walt Disney World is The Most Magical Place on Earth. Regardless, the intention is there.
