As many of you know, I’ll be visiting both Walt Disney World and Disneyland back-to-back this year as we celebrate my mother’s 70th birthday. What better place to do it than at the Disneyland Resort’s 70th anniversary, with a little Walt Disney World thrown in for good measure? I’m so excited to see all the bright colors of this year’s celebration, and I want to make the occasion absolutely perfect for our family. Our coast-to-coast vacation will be action-packed; it’s the only way to do it when traveling internationally to make the most out of your investment. Which means there will be no time to waste with mediocrity. I’m pretty set in my ways when it comes to our usual dining locations for both Disneyland and Walt Disney World, but I’m looking for something to add a little bit of unexpected sparkle. That’s where you, our DIS community, come in!
I’m looking to hear your favorite special occasion dining locations from either (or bonus point for both) coasts. Do you prefer Signature Dining experiences for a touch of luxury or more casual but meaningful favorites? Pairing events, characters meals, buffets, everything is on the table for this one. In the parks, resorts, or entertainment districts, I want to know where you go to celebrate and why. If you have a menu recommendation, you might as well add that in as well! Just as importantly, if you have gone all in on an experience and wish you hadn’t, let me know those answers, too!
