Of all the Disney news that we have covered over the years, there is one more recent addition that has stuck with me for quite a while. My last few visits to Walt Disney World have seen my family including younger children more focused on ticking off those classic experiences, and it wasn’t until my most recent return to Disneyland that I started to enjoy some more unique opportunities as my kids have evolved into young adults. One dining experience that is still on my Walt Disney World bucket list is the Baton-Rouge Beignets at Scat Cat’s Club Café at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter. Now, these babies aren’t new, but they are on my to-do list as I plan my next Walt Disney World trip. If you don’t know what I am talking about, let me share the description with you:
Baton Rouge Beignets* $12.49
Two-Beignets jazzed up with your choice of Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur, Kahlúa Liqueur, or RumChata Liqueur (Contains Alcohol)
These delicious Beignets come with an interactive pipette element for guests to fill their snack item when they are ready to eat it. This allows the Beignet to stay fresh and crisp right until the last moment when it’s filled with delicious 21+ flavors (containing alcohol) that give you the best of both worlds. Goodbye soggy jam donuts that have been sitting on a shelf and have been deteriorating for hours. Instead, I’ll be trying one of these delicious morsels that allow me to experiment a little with my Beignets.
If you’ve tried any of these, please let me know your recommended flavor!
