This is Everything You Need to Know About Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom

Cinderella’s Royal Table is the second most searched restaurant on our website, and that’s no surprise. This dining experience is unique and like no other at Walt Disney World. Where else do you get to eat in a castle filled with princesses? There is nowhere else. Anyway, let’s break down the most asked questions regarding this dining location so you can be fully prepared for this royal meal. Craig, Ryno, and I had the opportunity to dine here recently, and we made sure to get all the details you need.

How Much Does Cinderella’s Royal Table Cost?

This is one of the most expensive in-park dining experiences I have ever seen, but I think it’s worth it. I had a few hiccups during my meal, but being in the castle makes up for that. The space is small, which makes the restaurant feel more intimate, and there are these large windows that look out into Fantasyland. Not only is the view gorgeous, but the way the light shines into the room is beautiful. The bottom line is that it’s a breathtaking area.

The pricing is different for breakfast, but lunch and dinner follow the same price point. Let’s break it down.

$65 per adult, plus tax and gratuity

$39 per child, plus tax and gratuity

Lunch & Dinner

$79 per adult, plus tax and gratuity

$47 per child, plus tax and gratuity

After dining here during lunch, I can say that this pricing is worth it if you are celebrating something big like a milestone birthday or anniversary, if you’re proposing, or your it’s your first trip to Disney.

Are There Princesses at Cinderella’s Royal Table Right Now?

Yes, finally! The princesses have returned to the castle and are meeting guests at their tables. When you enter, you are put in a line to meet Cinderella, and a PhotoPass photographer is there to take a photo of each group. These photos are included with your meal and will appear in the My Disney Experience app to download.

Then when you get seated upstairs, the princesses are announced one by one; they all go to their assigned sections to start and will eventually make their way to each table. There is a character attendant watching and marking which tables have been seen to ensure that everyone sees them.

The current princesses meeting guests are:

  • Ariel from The Little Mermaid
  • Jasmine from Aladdin
  • Snow White from the film Snow White
  • Aurora from Sleeping Beauty

Do You Have to Pay for Cinderella’s Royal Table Upfront?

Yes. When you make the Advance Dining Reservation, you must pay the total upfront. Anything added on, like alcoholic beverages, you will pay for at the table. If you are an Annual Passholder or Disney Vacation Club Member, the server will give that information to the leaders. The leaders input this information, and you will see a small refund on the card you paid with that reflects the discount.

Where is the Best Place to Sit at Cinderella’s Royal Table?

The room you dine in is relatively small, so I think any spot is excellent, but the most sought-after seats are the ones by the windows. Here guests can look out into Fantasyland and see Beast Castle in the distance. We sat in the middle area of the restaurant, and I thought it was a great seat.

The location of our table let us see the entire room and soak in all the details around us, from the hanging flags, the knights, and the large windows. Our table was also perfectly positioned so that we could watch the princesses make their royal entrances.

What Would I do Differently at Cinderella’s Royal Table?

This is a question I asked myself after leaving the restaurant. I loved the experience, enjoyed meeting the characters, and liked my food. But if I’m being honest, I am much more of a breakfast person. I love making breakfast for dinner and all that fun stuff. So the one thing I would change about my experience is that I would’ve wanted to go during breakfast hours.

As we were leaving the castle, we met a lovely cast member named Madeline, and she told us that she loves breakfast in the castle, and now all I can think about is eating there when the park opens. Who knows when I’ll ever return to Cinderella’s Royal Table, but when I do, it will be for breakfast.

If you’ve eaten here before, I am curious to know your opinion on this experience. If you haven’t eaten here, is dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table on your Disney bucket list? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
